Alan Groves

Has in excess of thirty years experience in the unique and complex industry of lifts and escalators. Firstly as an installation engineer/technician and for the last twelve years as a manager and consultant. As project engineer and manager he has completed projects from conception design to commissioning and has delivered both short and long term installations. Most recent work includes;

Design and specification for Network Rail ‘Step Free Access’ programme;

Traffic analysis and design for the Al Raha Beach Complex (Abu Dhabi);

Design, traffic analysis and specification for the Abu Dhabi New Court Complex;

Design and specification for the Edinburgh Airport Rail Link;

Standards and specification for Crossrail;

Design for the Tottenham Court Road Station Upgrade.
